Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai NEXT

I love Sena! <3

First of all, what the hell happened to the storyline?? Not only did the plot not have any progress throughout the entire 12 episodes, it suddenly ends because Yozora decided to 'go on a journey'.

Really? Really? You expect me to be satisfied with this kind of half assed ending? This sequel does not make any sense. In the last few episodes, Rika suddenly invented iron balls which were controlled by brain waves. Does this have any relation with the school life genre in this Anime?

Since i am a big fan of school life themes, i absolutely hate it when the anime and its character suddenly become so 'magical', meaning that it becomes utterly unrealistic. Don't get me wrong, i'm not complaining that i am angry because it turns magical. I am angry because it was ORIGINALLY non-magical and suddenly decided that hey, lets throw in some unrealistic shit when we are supposed to be normal!

Okami-san and her seven companions

I just finished watching this anime today, and i can sincerely tell you all that i really enjoyed it.

One of the things i love about this anime is the narrator, who occasionally pokes fun at the characters thus providing a comedic relief. I think this is one of the factors that makes this anime enjoyable.

I also like the fact that one of the main characters Ryoshi, grows stronger after going through many difficult trials with the people from Otogi bank. I don't really like to see characters abnormally strong or talented right of the bat because it just kills the effectiveness of the story.

Another great thing about this anime is how deeply the character's past has affected them and made them who they are today. I loved the part when they showed Ryouko's past, it was thrilling yet made me pity her.

Overall this is a good anime. While being mostly comedy, there are some darker undertones to this anime. For example, the delinquent leader said that he was about to have some 'fun' with the main character and the fact that Ryouko's ex boyfriend had attempted to rape her.

Though it is not really visible, it is still there nevertheless. It has a significant role in the story though because it makes the story more serious and heart pounding.

Stare.....
Plot: The ending was quite weak and left me hanging. It didn't address the main issues. 7/10

Character: Quite well developed, but there were too many secondary characters which didn't do anything for the plot although they did help out the main characters. 7/10

Graphics: Pretty good 7/10

Music: I quite like the opening, but the ending didn't really rub me the right way.7/10

Like the saying goes "If you get hooked after the first episode, then you know its a good anime." i think this really applies to this. It wasn't exactly so interesting that i would go gaga over it but it held on my interest until the very end.

It was pretty good compared to others yet it didn't leave me satisfied. Probably because of the rather disappointing ending. But i was quite happy to see the two main characters relationship grow deeper as the ending went along.

Well after watching half of the 12 episodes this series had to offer my thoughts were this: Those characters will never, ever, EVER kiss. I have to admit that i'm a hardcore romance fan and watched many romance animes' and thus came to this conclusion.

But the romance wasn't that bad compared to other romance series where it seemed to be like an endless wild goose chase. Kekeke i hope it gets a second season soon. Doesn't seem likely though.

Okami-san and her seven companions episode 5

Hehe i finally started another anime. After watching Magi i felt like i needed some romance/comedy and stumbled on this anime.

Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai

Hehe i finally completed another anime series. I seem to have lesser and lesser time nowadays, but since it is the march holidays i can finally go crazy. Let out the anime fangirl in me!!!! Hohoho.

http://2.bp.blogspot.com/
I think what i enjoyed about this anime was the jokes, and the hardships the characters went through because they don't have 'friends'. Overall it was pretty good and the opening and ending was fantastic.

Plot: There wasn't much of a clear story, the characters were just added in as it went along. 7/10

Characters: The characters were funny and i must say, pretty hot. 8/10

Graphics: The animation was quite good. Although it was Ecchi, it really wasn't that bad. 9/10

Music: The opening and ending are one of the best i've heard. Very catchy 9/10

I think one of my favorite characters are Yozora and Sena. Despite being polar opposites, they really mesh together. Although they fight often it is pretty obvious that they treasure one another.

Although Yozora teases Sena and gives her a nickname 'niku' (meat), Sena doesn't really mind because in one of the episodes Sena stated that a nickname is what friends use to call one another.

Pretty sweet ain't it? :) The main character Kodaka is a little cliche but i would say that he was the glue that held the club together. The only reason he could not make friends was because of his blond hair, which made him seem like a delinquent.

I recommend watching this if you love harem and comedy. There is also a sequel to this: Boku wa Tomodachi ga sukunai NEXT.

Sakamichi No Apollon - Kids on the slope

Don't let the picture fool you. This anime will shock you with its beautiful music, dramatic storyline and deep characters. To be honest i didn't expect much of this anime but once i started watching, i couldn't stop.

This is one of the anime's which will leave you hooked. The one thing i like about this anime the most is the realistic story line and the ups and downs of friendships and romance. It shows how unpredictable life can be.

Plot: I didn't really like the ending but nevertheless. (8/10)

Characters: Their personalities and pasts (8/10)

Graphics: Beautiful animation. Slightly bishonen male characters (9/10)

Music: No brainer (10/10)

This anime revolves mostly around jazz, friendships and romance. Me likey. But i still can't figure out whether  there is two protagonists or just one. Kaoru Nishimi comes off as a rich kid because of his stoic features and neat appearance.

Despite this, he manages to become friends with the school most feared delinquent; Sentaro Kawabuchi or known as Sen or Sen-boy. Surprisingly both of them become close friends. However when kaoru starts to like sen's childhood friend Ritsuko, the plot intensifies.

Add Sentaro falling in and out off love and Brother Jun whom he looked up to since childhood into the mix, you'll never stop watching. I enjoyed this anime and really like it. I recommend it to those who like romance, drama and friendship. :)

But the ending was slightly disappointing though because i expected it to more more intense and heart warming. It has a total of 12 episodes.

Detective Conan movie 16 - The Eleventh striker

This movie has been out since 2012 and i have been putting it off. Please punch me right now.

This is by far one of my most loved series, and has been the longest too. Although i haven't been keeping track because of the slow eng subs, i still love this. Forever a DC fan!!!

The two lovers and chiba-keji
The 16th movie of the Detective Conan series, this movie is more on soccer but the plot is still amazing. I enjoyed the Quarter of Silence better though, but i'm more interested in romance so you don't have to take my opinion.

Plot: Soccer oriented but still awesome (7/10)

Characters: Very in depth, especially the culprit. (9/10)

Graphics: Fantastic (10/10)

Music: Dc soundtracks are always great (9/10)

Love Kogoro's expression
Detective Conan really has come a long way. I sincerely hope Gosho Aoyama continues this to the very end. Gah now i'm in fan-girl mode, better go.....watch some more!! (/*.*)/

My mind is a strange place pt 2

The sequel to my strange mind pt 1 i guess.

My mind is a strange place pt 1

Hmm this would be my second post. Not that i'm counting.

My first try

What to do now?

That's what i frequently ask myself when i feel bored. With the upcoming stress of a major exam looming over my shoulders, i try not to watch anime too often because i can get obsessed. But of course i can never keep away completely, so i picked up the iPad and started reading manga after school.

But even that wasn't enough. So i picked up my psp and started playing Persona 3, a long overdue game that i recently bought. It was 2nd hand but hey! :) After playing the male character i think it is an amazing game. Great story-line and characters! The graphics are nothing to scoff at either!

Whoops i'm straying off the subject. Anyways I always wanted to try creating a blog but my motivation wasn't really there. It only kicked off when i was sitting in class, really really bored.

I was thinking about anime (as usual) and was wondering if it was possible for a 15 year girl to ever make it to Japan. Then the idea hit me. "Why don't i create a blog to write about how it will happen??" And thus this blog was born.

I always wanted to try blogging so i think that this is a win-win situation. :)
